what is AI and What is its function

AI, or Artificial Intelligence, refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that generally bear mortal intelligence. These tasks include literacy, logic, problem- solving, perception, natural language understanding, and speech recognition, among others. AI can be distributed into two main types Narrow AI( or Weak AI) and General AI( or Strong AI).

Narrow AI( Weak AI) This type of AI is designed and trained for a specific task or a narrow set of tasks. exemplifications include speech recognition, image recognition, recommendation systems, and natural language processing. Narrow AI systems exceed at the specific task they're designed for but warrant the capability to generalize beyond that compass.

General AI( Strong AI) This is a academic form of artificial intelligence that can understand, learn, and apply knowledge across a broad range of tasks at a mortal position. General AI would have the capability to perform any intellectual task that a mortal being can. As of now, we do not have true General AI, and the field is still primarily concentrated on developing technical AI systems.

The functions of AI can be astronomically distributed into three types

Reactive Machines These are AI systems that operate grounded on predefined rules and are designed to perform a specific task. They do not have the capability to learn from experience or acclimatize to new situations.

Limited Memory AI systems with limited memory have the capability to learn from literal data. They can make opinions grounded on once gests and acclimatize to some extent. This is frequently seen in operations like tone- driving buses .

proposition of Mind( tone- apprehensive AI) This is a more advanced conception where AI systems would have the capability to understand mortal feelings, beliefs, intentions, and other internal countries. This position of AI is still largely theoretical and academic .
